Norwegian hazelnut banana pancake, chocolate croissant, caramel latte and pistachio latte- delic. Latte’s weren’t super sugary and they can make them decaf!

I want to like this place so much more than I do. I've gone here a couple of times for iced lattes, and the drink always winds up looking too pale in color, and I can never really taste the coffee. They don't seem to be adding enough espresso. Also, for the amount of space in the cafe, it seems so empty. It'd be great if they had some unique decor to make it more inviting. And I think they really ought to up their baked goods game. They have the perfect display space! But the few baked products they do have are lacking in visual appeal and quality. I wish they would hire a good baker and make use of that space. I wonder what's holding them back so much.

We ordered a BLT, avocado toast, and mango smoothie here today but were left very disappointed by the service and food quality- the mango smoothie had many small chunks of mango bone in it and each sip had at least one. The BLT was decent, no complaints there, but the true disappointment was the avocado toast. It was literally HEAPS (a layer thicker than the “toast”) of unseasoned, plain avocado on untoasted bread. No seasoning as photographed on menu/other reviews. When asked for a refund, the man working the front desk refused and said we should just “scrape it off”. At around $13, this was a disappointment to say the least. We left hungry and frustrated that our reasonable request wasn’t met, as a loyal customer supporting their business. Overpriced and underdelivered, save your money and go elsewhere with employees that want you to enjoy the food they serve.

I love the name of this café. Inside, it has more of a diner-style feel with simple furniture and not much greenery or visual interest, especially if you’re visiting alone. The large windows are great for natural light, though the view is mostly of the surrounding concrete shopping center. Overall, the atmosphere felt a bit uncurated and lacking warmth. I encountered four staff members, two of whom may have been the owners, and they seemed somewhat preoccupied (understandably as business operators). The barista, however, stood out as the friendliest face — she consistently served customers with a smile. I ordered the brioche French toast, a decaf cortado with an extra stick of honey, and extra fruit on the side. The fruit was very fresh, and honestly, I don’t think I would have enjoyed the French toast as much without it. I may come back for the French toast and fruit alone. Before I left, a bus lady came by to relieve me of my finished dishes.

I go here fairly regularly and it’s ALWAYS great. The inside isn’t the coziest but it’s clean and bright and friendly. The staff is great, the food is healthy and yummy, and the coffee is the best part. Excellent quality coffee. The beans are high-grade and brewed to perfection. No bitter or charred taste, just clean, bright flavors and a smooth finish. And you can tell they care about their sourcing. (Photo of my half eaten açaí bowl and latte)
